This clip features a "MEGA" Union Pacific loaded coal train departing east out of North Platte, NE and passing through the marshy area on the east end of town where the railroad crosses the North Platte River. This is a so-called 'mega' train because it is two loaded coal trains put together. As an addition, an empty coal train is also included seen passing by the large grain elevator in town as it rolls into Bailey Yard.
