UP 3985, 5511 & 6936 and the UP Donation Special - South Amana Iowa - Silvis IL 11/19/22

On 11/19/22 after 8 days of travel the union pacific 3985, 5511, and 6936 as well as the rest of the donated equipment completed their journey from cheyenne Wyoming to silvis il to join the Railroading heritage of midwest America fleet in their rock island locomotive shop Thanks to the trains speed this made for a easy chase. Allowing us to get ahead of the train multiple times and catch a few freight trains in between. The only downside of the day was the cold weather and the brutal wind that plagued the entire chase.
