The main focus of this episode is Ukrainian offensive operations in the Oleksandrivka area. According to Ukrainian sources, the 425th Assault Regiment "Skelia" recaptured six towns: Ternove, Zaporizhka, Novoheorhiivka, Voronezh, Sishneve, and Maliivka. In total, approximately 120 km² of territory has been returned to Ukrainian control. We're not talking about a major strategic offensive or the collapse of the entire Russian front. However, we are talking about a significant tactical success, demonstrating that Ukraine is not only defending itself against Russian pressure, but is also capable of locally seizing the initiative, regaining ground, and forcing the Russians to retreat from selected positions. In this article, we discuss what exactly happened in the area of ​​these six towns, why information about the depth of operations requires caution, and why it is safest to base an assessment on the two strongest elements: the recaptured towns and an area of ​​approximately 120 km². At the same time, the front remains very active. Russia continues to maintain intense pressure near Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, Konstantynivka, and Lyman, attempting to overload Ukrainian defenses in several directions simultaneously. In the south, the Hulyaipolskyi direction also remains active. In this episode, we examine two aspects of the same war: on the one hand, Russia continues to launch costly attacks and attempt to pressure the Ukrainian defensive belt in Donbas; on the other, Ukraine demonstrates its ability to counterattack locally and regain significant ground.
