Vietnam Airlines... My HONEST Long Haul Experience We begin the homeward bound journey of this truly EPIC European travel series and the airline of choice to bring us there is Vietnam Airlines (VN). They aren't known as a top tier outfit, in fact friends who have flown them walked away less than enthused. Still, that did not stop us from giving them a fair go and ultimately decide for ourselves what is VN really all about. You'll see that they operate an ultra modern fleet of long haul aircraft to take us the world over. The cabin crew are delightful enough there are no real faults to find. And the in-flight catering is some of the best I've experienced in economy class. But there are still some glaring faults though which makes them somewhat rough around the edges.
