We Tried Paddling Across Scotland on Cheap Inflatables (Bad Choice)

Is this the UKs best adventure? We attempt paddle 60 miles/95km coast to coast across Scotland following the Great Glen Canoe trail, a multi day canoe packing trip from Fort William to Inverness. We're (maybe stupidly) taking it on independently as a group of 4 on 2 paddleboards and a leaky inflatable kayak, carrying everything we need with us for the week on our paddleboards - food, camping equipment and even a wheelchair! The trail takes you through the Scottish highlands passing some of Scotlands most stunning scenery. We will paddle across a mixture of canals and open water, the trail follows the Caledonian Canal and cross Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and the legendary Loch Ness. These massive lochs are unpredictable and very susceptible to the Scottish weather so you don’t know whether you’ll get flat water or wind and waves. The recommended route for the great glen canoe trail is split into 5 sections to be done across 5 days. So how hard is it to take on the UKs best adventure challenge and paddleboard 60 miles across Scotland?
