Las marotas, día de muertos en Cocotitlán.

Las Marotas es una tradición nacida en el pueblo de Cocotitlán, Estado de México, representa una noche en la que los difuntos pueden salir a divertirse y bailar por las calles; acompañados de una banda de viento y percusión en las fogatas que las familias ponen en las calles del pueblo. Es una tradición que se sabe por los habitantes de la comunidad de mayor edad que se ha hecho por generaciones, algunos de ellos dicen "cuando yo era niño ya se hacia" y poco a poco ha crecido y evolucionado hasta nuestros días, este es un pequeño documento en el que se muestra a grandes rasgos como se vive la tradición en este pequeño pueblo al oriente del estado de México.
