It is very small and compact on the outside but remarkably roomy and spacious inside and in the boot. Under the bonnet is a frugal 85kW 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with front-wheel drive, but you can also get a 110kW turbo four-cylinder. The Kamiq competes with its cousin, the Volkswagen T-Cross, plus other compact SUVs like the Ford Puma, Hyundai Venue, Kia Stonic, Toyota Yaris Cross and others. It is quite a lot more expensive than when it launched, however. The 2023 Kamiq 85TSI Style costs $37,990 driveaway. The four-cylinder models start at $42,490 driveaway.
