Citroen e-C3 Fahrbericht & Test - NUR 12,2 kWh / 100 km? | Electric Drive Check

Welcome to Electric Drive! Today's focus: the Citroën e-C3 MAX. Our colleague Frank has a cold, so I'm taking over from the back office. With a starting price of €23,300, the Citroën e-C3 is the long-awaited affordable electric car. We tested the better-equipped MAX version, which costs around €27,000. Some of the driver assistance systems weren't yet finalized, so we can't comment on them. Citroën e-C3 MAX Design: The e-C3 proudly displays the new Citroën logo on the front and rear. It offers a classic SUV design with a high roofline and plenty of space. The MAX variant impresses with fabric trim on the dashboard, attractive door panels, and comfortable seats. Citroën e-C3 MAX Interior: The center console features the Stellantis slider for selecting driving modes. New is the C mode for comfort. The highlight is a 10.25-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features inductive charging and a USB-C port. Citroën e-C3 MAX functionality: Classic power windows and mirror adjustments make operation easy. There's ample space in the back, and the light-colored headliner and good sound system create a pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend winter features such as heated seats and steering wheel. Citroën e-C3 MAX driving experience: The comfortable suspension is impressive, effectively absorbing potholes. The motor isn't particularly dynamic, but it's sufficient for overtaking. The top speed is 132 km/h. Consumption is difficult to estimate, but we achieved 12.2 kWh/100 km. With 15% battery capacity, we drove 55 km, which could correspond to a range of 366 km. Citroën e-C3 MAX technical specifications: The electric motor delivers up to 83 kW with a torque of 125 Nm. The battery capacity is 44 kWh, and the WLTP range is up to 326 km. In urban driving, up to 459 km is possible. Citroën e-C3 MAX interior space: The front seats offer plenty of headroom, the rear seats are split 60:40, and the trunk has a capacity of 360 liters. Unfortunately, there is no frunk; the charging cable is stored in the trunk. Conclusion: The Citroën e-C3 MAX offers everything you could want from an electric car. We recommend the MAX version for modern media connectivity. The charging speed is impressive at 100 kW (DC) and 11 kW (AC, optional extra).
