Prefabricated Housing Gains Popularity In Kenya
The concept of prefabricated houses is gaining popularity in Kenya with real estate developers embracing the approach to cash in on the ever rising demand for home ownership. Prefabricated homes are specialized houses manufactured off-site in standard sections before being assembled at the location. The national housing corporation has recently unveiled a prefab factory and our reporter Henry Githaiga sought to find out how the new technology is impacting on the local housing market.
