Adventure Paddling the River Wye (June 10k)

Yes I know its not archery, but it is an adventure.... So as part of an ongoing midlife crisis, my good buddy and me took a well deserved day off work and hit a section of the River Wye Back in June, with our paddle boards, in preparation for a much larger expedition on the river later this year. We launched from a pub in Ross on Wye, called the Hope and anchor. That now has its very own launch point! We paddled 5K upstream, and took a lazy 5K back. The water was warm and shallow, and in the deep parts we took advantage and practised plenty of self rescue with and without PFD’s. There really is no better way to spend a day!
