Kartoli railway station (KRTLI) is a newly constructed station in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab. It is a key part of the Daulatpur Chowk – Talwara rail line project, which aims to improve connectivity between Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. ​Status and Development ​Recent Approval: In March/April 2026, the 10.55-kilometer section between Daulatpur Chowk and Kartoli received official approval from the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS). ​Speed Trials: Successful trials have been conducted on this electrified single-line track at speeds of up to 121 km/h. ​Significance: This section is a crucial link in the Nangal–Una–Talwara project.
