It was inspired by the art style and color palette of MapleStory. The hack uses assets from Metroid Fusion and Metroid: Zero Mission, combined with the visual style of certain MapleStory areas (especially the Temple of Time), to modify rooms and design the game's progression. For the soundtrack, the author selected tracks from R18+ visual novels they enjoy. In terms of ASM, the hack relies on existing patches and does not introduce any original assembly work, mainly due to the author's limited experience and lack of time to learn assembly programming. Since developing Metroid Interstellar Crossing consumed a considerable amount of the author's energy, and with work and personal life becoming increasingly busy, the author does not plan to fix some of the remaining bugs. These mainly include the completion rate displaying as 100% even when it is actually below 100%, and the background music playing incorrectly after encountering Space Pirates. ....................................
