Why Coaster Enthusiasts Are WRONG About B&M. I grew up with B&M coasters. My home park is Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando is not too far away. As a kid, Montu, Kumba, ShieKra, Kraken, and even Hulk at Universal were my favorite coasters, each providing, wildly different experiences from one another….or so I thought…As I got older and interacted more with enthusiasts, I was surprised to find out that many were in fact not as favorable to B&M as I was. The nickname ‘Boring and Mid’ was often assigned to the company, and when a new one was announced it was, and still is, met with vitriol from many enthusiasts. But why? What are the reasons people don’t like B&M? And more importantly, are they deserving of the hate that they receive? The goal of this video is to take a deep dive through the company and determine, who they are, what they do well, what they do not well (don’t worry I will address the *rattle*) and determine if they are actually truly great and if everyone is just being a bit harsh.
