Ava Gardner in She Went to the Races (1945)
Ava Gardner had a supporting role in She Went to the Races (1945) although she seemed to steel the film in my opinion. Just a year after this, she made The Killers, which launched her into movie stardom. I selected a few scenes from She Went to the Races she appeared in and she made every moment she had worth while. Even though this movie isn't much good, Ava is lively and wonderful in it.
