You can use the controller both wired and wirelessly with the included dongle. This is one of the flagship controllers by PowerA that has a fully customizable RGB interface. Divided into 4 sectors that allow you not only to change the color it displays but also how it displays the color. If that wasn't enough you can use the low latency wireless dongle to free you from the pesky wires but if you like wire your self into the game you also have the option to connect the controller with the supplied USB-C cable.
