The base model in the Audi A3 sedan (8V) lineup for the Japanese market is a 1.4 TFSI engine with 122 hp, direct injection, and turbocharger, paired with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The more powerful 140-horsepower version is equipped with a Cylinder on Demand (COD) system for fuel economy.
