Grackles & Starlings Activity at Backyard Bird Feeder | Ambient Spring Morning Bird Feeding

The Native Grackles and Invasive Starlings take over the main feeder at my house. Once they have their fill, we are contemplating the temporary switch to feeding NutraSaff at my tube feeder so that Cardinals & Finches may have a space to eat. "Blackbirds" (i.e. Grackles, Red-Winged BlackBirds, and Starlings) cannot physically break the hull of the shell with their beaks. NutraSaff has a bitter taste to Squirrels so a great option when you are unable to have a squirrel baffle! This nutrient dense seed is one of the preferred foods of Cardinals and is an optimal choice to include in your feed for Nesting season.
