Today is exciting, as the prospective protocol soldiers will get to know the highly anticipated Karabiner 98K and practice the so-called "grasp" for the first time. This involves grasping the 4-kilogram carbine in three steps, before transitioning to the so-called "presentation grip." During their protocol training, the prospective protocol soldiers practice every stance, every position, and every grip for several hours every day, so that everything is perfect and synchronized during an operation. Maintaining protocols is also important. You'll learn why ironing is just as much a part of their duty time in this exclusive episode! While the prospective protocol soldiers are being trained in the barracks, the security platoon is practicing on the military training area. Here you'll meet Lance Corporal Dennis, who serves as a sniper squad leader and protocol soldier in the Guard Battalion at the Federal Ministry of Defence.
