⚡ DIY Spot Welder Build - 24x MOSFETs + 2S2P LiPo 200C

In this video I show my DIY spot welder build based on the 7Y320 Energy Storage Spot Welder Controller. Main components used: 🔹 7Y320 Energy Storage Spot Welder Control Board 🔹 24x IRL40SC228 MOSFETs (557A rated) 🔹 2x HRB 2S 7.4V 5200mAh 100C LiPo batteries (2S2P configuration) 🔹 16.8V 10A Li-ion charger 🔹 Custom laser-cut enclosure One important modification was replacing the original balancing resistors on the 7Y320 board with diodes. The factory balancing resistors draw around 16A during balancing, while the diode modification provides a much gentler balance current of approximately 0.180A per cell at 4.2V. This build focuses on high current capability, improved battery management, and a compact portable design for welding nickel strip and battery pack assembly.
