Many of them are loved by other artists and often recommended online, but after using them for quite a long time, I realised they just don’t work well with the way I like to create. Art supplies are very personal. What works perfectly for one artist can feel frustrating or limiting for someone else. In this video, I share my honest experience with some well-known materials and explain why they didn’t fit my workflow. I also talk about how I try to spend less on art supplies, including buying second-hand materials and making my own sketchbooks using the watercolor paper I actually enjoy working with.
