They Left This 1910 Cooking Stove to Rot... [Full Restoration]

In this video, I restored a very old 1910 Ehrich & Graetz No 2 cooking stove, a traditional stove. About the process: This project was one of the most challenging I have ever worked on because of how badly the stove had decayed. The tank had two cracks, the legs were bent, and the mica window was shattered with a hole right through it. I learned a lot about soldering old fuel tanks and bringing a wick stove back to life using both traditional and modern methods. After this, my respect for the old German makers went through the roof. They built these things to survive more than a hundred years, and this one nearly did it on its own. A quick note on the color: the original finish was that worn blue you see at the start, but high-temperature paint is almost impossible to find in blue here, so I went with red. I hope you do not mind the change, bu I had no other options. I truly enjoyed working on this project, and at the end of the video you can see a full test of how it works. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment, and I will get back to you.
