What is Your Relationship to Jesus? - Thomas Keating
Fr. Thomas Keating talks personally and generally about our life of faith: “I have known [Jesus] from fairly early childhood, failed him very often, and been forgiven over and over again. I have no credentials at all except the one that really means most to me anyway, which is that God has chosen you, and as Paul says, he chooses the weakest things and the worst things sometimes to accomplish him major things, just so we realize it's not we who are doing anything great, but that the manifestation of God is taking place in us." Fr. Thomas goes on to share insights into the relational dynamic of the Holy Trinity and how we manifest the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in us. He expands on the statement, "to know the Other, to become the Other, there is no Other," and concludes by paraphrasing Luke 9:23: “Anyone at all who brings himself or herself to nothing will find out who they are and who are they... at the deepest level.” Thanks to Integral Life and Ken Wilber for allowing us to share this 2015 recording and the others at • Return to the Heart of Christ Consciousness .
