I pulled tons of soil up and built my own winter greenhouse. I covered the coldness of the concrete with the bounty of the soil; I planted radishes, turnips, watercress, parsley, and green onions inside. Now, in the middle of winter, we can harvest our fresh greens directly from our roof. Hopefully, this will inspire those who say, "I don't have space," because returning to nature is possible everywhere! "Don't say, 'Can you have a garden on concrete?'
