This video Lecture will explain Diyat, its value, and the Punishment of Non-payment of the Diyat Amount - Qisas Diyat is an Islamic term, Diyat is a financial compensation paid to the Legal heirs of a victim in the case of murder or victim, bodily harm, or property damage. Under section 323 of the Pakistan Penal Code, the value of the Diyat is 30,630/- Grams of Silver or an alternative price. The Government of Pakistan issued a Notification yearly in the official gazette for the value of the Diyat amount for the financial year. In the PPC (Pakistan Penal Code), punishment for many offences described Diyat like Murder, body hurt in Kinds of Hurt of PPC.
