My personal experience of working as a phlebotomist in a hospital and a clinic setting. These are all of my real reviews and experience from when I worked at both settings. You will do great in your career. 😉 Hospital Setting: Pros: [ ] Great pay [ ] Great medical exposure if wishing to advance in the medical field [ ] Diversity of people [ ] Gain great experience [ ] Great start for beginners Cons: [ ] Long shifts (M-F) 24/7 *hospitals never closes [ ] Lots of walking [ ] Burnout quickly [ ] Understaffed [ ] Hardsticks (no veins) [ ] Difficult draws Clinic Setting: Pros: [ ] Average to normal pay [ ] Subtle and less hectic [ ] Controlled environment [ ] Less walking (able to sit down more) [ ] Less hardsticks [ ] Off when clinic is closed (holidays off) Cons: [ ] Repetitive [ ] Considered boring because of repetitiveness [ ] Not a lot of exposure if wanting to advance in the medical field [ ] Beginners may not perform different draws due to the dynamic of the clinic My Day in the life of a Phlebotomist:    • Day in the life of a Phlebotomist   Connect with me Flo’s Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/flos_corner...
