Redman on Losing Endorsements and Getting Arrested 8 Times for Weed
Veteran rapper, Redman is taking his marijuana advocacy to another level with his new business ventures. With the legalization of the marijuana in several states, many celebrities have found themselves investing in dispensaries and even producing several weed strains. The Newark native has always voiced his love for the herb and has admitted to getting arrested nearly 7-8 times over the drug, however, now he talks to DJ Vlad about his new business ventures. He and Methodman are partners with Blazenow; an app is which you can locate the hottest dispensaries around the world that gives you the ratings and weed types they have in their locations. Although many endorsers have refused to work with Redman due to his "pothead" persona, he says that's where fans and critics mistook his image with the drug. Red expressed in the 90s, he and his team "didn't promote [weed] as a high" but promoted it as a "way of life." Beside his Redman and Methodman app, he talks about working with Cannamarkusa.com that can scan edibles and tell you the THC levels within the treats while advising you on how many bites to take before the drug takes its effect on you.
