Growing up with scoliosis is difficult for a child, physically and mentally. This talk looks at the impact it has on both - and looks at how the community support helped this speaker with the progression of her treatment. Soraya, as many children do, grew up with scoliosis. While fairly common, Soraya comes to the stage to share the experience through the lens of the social-emotional impact this can have on children and what we can do to support them.
