THE BUS: RETURNING TO THE STREETS: Is The Bus FINALLY Perfect?! (Hamburg DLC Update)

Its has been a long time since we’ve taken a drive through the streets of Hamburg in The Bus, and I have to say, the game is looking absolutely excellent. I am truly impressed with how far it has come! ​The latest major update for the Hamburg City DLC arrived on May 21, 2026. This significant expansion brought a wealth of improvements and new content, including: ​NEW LINE 218: A brand-new route connecting the S-Bahn station Rübenkamp with Ellernreihe/Heukoppel, adding about six kilometers to the network. ​LINE 17 EXTENSION: The route has been significantly expanded and now continues all the way to Bramfelder Dorfplatz, adding another five kilometers of driving. ​NEW DEPOT: The addition of the real-life Alsterdorf depot on Tessenowweg. ​GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENTS: A variety of optimizations including adjusted timetables, refined AI lanes, and vehicle paths. ​VISUAL ENHANCEMENTS: Numerous new buildings and iconic Hamburg landmarks, such as the Marktplatz Galerie, the renovated gas station, and the Osterkirche, along with challenging construction zones on Hebebrandstraße and Leeschenblick. ​GENERAL FIXES: A range of bug fixes and performance polishes to ensure a smoother experience. ​It’s great to see the level of detail being poured into this DLC.
