We have taken this machine through its paces on every other process (TIG, MIG and FCAW) and now it's time to see how it performs in stick mode. In order to really test its capabilities, we ran 6 different welds with 6010 rod and 7018 rod: Test 1: Uphill 6010 Open Root - 3:29 Test 2: Downhill 6010 Open Root - 5:17 Test 3: Uphill 6010 Hot Pass - 6:39 Test 4: Downhill 6010 Hot Pass - 7:34 Test 5: Uphill 7018 Fill Pass - 9:46 Test 6: Uphill 7018 Cap Pass - 11:39 After doing multiple welds with many different electrodes, we really liked what the ESAB Rebel had to offer in stick mode.
