St Ives - A Beautiful Market Town on the River Great Ouse

Video shows our visit to the beautiful Market Town of St Ives in Cambridgeshire with a unique character and many attractions. St Ives is in the Huntingdonshire district of Cambridgeshire, on the north bank of the River Great Ouse. A 15th century bridge with a chapel over the river is one of only four of its kind in England. St Ives has a high street with a mix of independent shops and high street shops. St Ives was originally a village called Slepe. In the 19th century, its cattle market was second only to Smithfield in London We followed the Town Trail provided by the St Ives Town Team which is a community group dedicated to promoting St Ives.
