A Quiet Morning Coffee in Jomtien. Where is Everyone? 🇹🇭

A quiet morning on Jomtien Beach in April. This video was made the morning after the busy Songkran celebrations, so it was particularly quiet. There were not many people out and about on the Beach Road today, as many will be recovering after the previous night, when it was the busiest night of the Songkran holiday. I took a walk and stopped for a coffee in Soi Chaiyapruek. The mornings are the best time of the day in Jomtien, although it was already quite hot by the time I started filming for this video. Jomtien is located on the East coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about 155 km from Bangkok in the Chonburi Province, Thailand. The area has seen many new high-rise constructions in the last five years, with numerous new condominiums and housing developments currently under construction. It has become a popular choice for expats as an alternative to Pattaya City.
