Welcome to, St Thomas church in Gawber,Barnsley. St Thomas church was built in 1848. The interior is a simple design,clean and carpeted throughout . The churchyard now being maintained by the council. To the north side of the church adjacent to the road is the village war memorial where an act of remembrance is held to commemorate those of the parish who fell in the two world wars and there are also commonwealth war graves.
