Dream Theater @ Roman Amphitheatre, Plovdiv, 20.07.2025 [Almost Full Concert]

The first of an incredible couple of nights at the stunning Ancient Theatre of Philippopolis in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on the 20th of July 2025. DT were at top form and James sounded amazing. Actually, there were a few curious quirks and technical difficulties throughout the first night. For example, Jordan hit the first key note several times at the start of "Through My Words," as if there were a problem with his in-ear monitors. Then, during the middle, Rhapsody-esque section of "The Count of Tuscany," there was some guitar interference. During "The Spirit Carries On," Jordan's keyboard malfunctioned during the first verse, so James and the audience sang a cappella. James told the audience that they were filming both nights for a future DVD/Blu-ray release. However, I later read Mike's comment on Facebook saying that they were professionally recording (at least audio of) each concert, and that each recording is going in the DT vault with no clear confirmation for future release.
