Is The Triquetra Grand Tour Really That Good?

21 Stages of Zwift FRR Triquetra Grand Tour is officially done and dusted! After 21 consecutive days of racing, 32 hours and 36 minutes in the saddle, and a massive roller coaster of emotions, I have officially completed the Flamme Rouge Racing (FRR) Triquetra Grand Tour on Zwift. In this video, I’m giving you my honest thoughts, pros and cons, and a full review of this epic indoor cycling stage race. From starting completely blind (not even knowing what GC meant!) to getting bumped up TWO racing categories after just three stages, this tour completely humbled me—but it also proved how far my fitness has come. A year ago, I was 15kg heavier and 100W slower on my FTP. On Stage 21 on the Champs-Élysées, I actually hit a new 5-second sprint power PB of 928 watts! I talk about race control, the strategy of drafting, how to handle deep muscle fatigue, managing a 21-stage schedule around work and family, and why I would 100% do this community-driven event again. 🚀 WHAT'S NEXT: CHASE THE SUN ICELAND 🇮🇸 The indoor trainer blocks are done, and now I am pivoting to a massive outdoor challenge: Chase the Sun Iceland on June 20th. The Challenge: 320 Kilometers (Individual) The Climbing: ~5,000 meters of elevation The Goal: Start at 3:00 AM at sunrise, ride through the mountains (on-road and off-road), and finish at midnight before the sun sets in Reykjavik. Last year, the brutal Icelandic weather forced us to quit at 180km. This year, I am back to finish an unfinished job. I am trusting the process and using TrainerRoad to tailor my 3-week training block with intense Zone 2, VO2 Max intervals, and ladder racing. 👇 Drop a comment below: Should I document my TrainerRoad prep and how to prepare for a 320km ultra-endurance ride?
