Hotel Tour of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Chicago IL (River North) + Bonus Throwback Video

The elevators are KONE from 2007. The lobby elevators are probably one of the last KONE hydro's installed. The main hotel elevators are probably MonoSpace as they go up to 27 floors at the most, and these serve that same amount. There is one elevator on the Springhill side (the far right elevator) that serves a locked off 28th and 29th floors that probably is an EcoSystemMR Anyways If you're wanting to see a hotel tour where there are two different hotels in one complex. This is where to go. As this tour includes parts of the Springhill Suites as that and the Residence Inn are connected. The North side has the Springhill Suites and the South side has the Residence Inn. My room was on the Residence Inn side. Enjoy the tour plus a special throwback video of the other elevators (did not have enough space to get them in the video as of other uploads from Chicago) as I stayed at the Amalfi/Kinzie Hotel back in 2011 and stopped by this hotel. These elevators used to be key carded but somehow took that out sometime.
