In Limpopo a significant number of villages still have no access to basic services. But for residents at South Africa's first smart rural village – life has been improved by cutting-edge technology. Gwakwani - in the far north of the Vhembe District Municipality - was transformed into a smart village by the University of Johannesburg's Electrical Engineering Faculty in 2014. #Elections2024
