Description 🇬🇧 and 🇮🇹 The house was designed by architect Ernest William Marshall and built in a neo-Georgian style. Consisting of two floors and an attic, it originally had 8 bedrooms and a study wing with a pediment and a large bay window. The builders were M. Calnan and Son of Commercial Road. The property is included in an acre of garden surrounded and protected by a wall about 3 and a half meters high, which reaches 4 and a half meters with the new protections erected after Freddie's death. Rae occupied the house from its completion until his death in 1935, Halford survived him and lived there until his death in 1938. British intelligence agent Tomás Harris and his wife Hilda moved here during WWII and have housed many MI5 and SIS employees on the property.
