PAW 40 first runs
I decided to resume construction of a Freebird I started 20 years ago, so I purchased a new PAW 40TBR for it. I phoned Tony Eifflaender in Macclesfield and my nice shiny new engine was delivered a few weeks later. The first runs were performed with a 12x5 Grish prop (didn't have the recommended 11x8) and the recommended break-in fuel mix. I decided that all future runs will be with a much sturdier mount, as the clamp style mount vibrates a lot. These things are powerful!
