Albino Baby Elephant, Khanyisa Gets Injured & Treated 🐘✨

Here is a glimpse into quite a common sight at the homestead… looking after the elephants’ wounds. Whether it’s from sparring with each other or feeding on hard vegetation, the elephants are prone to wounds from life in the wild, just as we as humans might sustain knocks or bruises here and there. Sometimes it’s cause for concern but like Khanyisa’s little cut in the region around her tusk, some are small and heal quickly. Still, we do all we can to prevent injuries from worsening. Here Adine applies Cyclo Spray to Khanyisa’s wound to prevent any infection from forming. Khanyisa doesn’t like the spray on her wound and rumbles grumpily. But she’s not too bothered that she has to stop eating her pellets and sweet potatoes!
