SORLEY RAILWAY TUNNEL DEVON WITH RARE 1950'S COLOUR FOOTAGE
The purpose of this short film is to take a look back at Kingsbridge Railway and the run up to Sorley Tunnel which was built to take the train from Brent into Kingsbridge Station, it was built during the early 1890's and was 625 yards long. We take a flight out of Kingsbridge and fly along the route of the old line. Included in this film is some very rare colour footage from the 1950's.
