Discover the breathtaking beauty of Cala Pregonda, one of the most iconic and unique beaches in Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. Cala Pregonda remains almost completely untouched and natural, with only a few small houses near the shore. There are no beach bars, sunbeds, or tourist facilities here, helping preserve its wild and peaceful charm. To reach the beach, visitors must walk around 2 km from Binimel·là Beach, but the scenic coastal walk is absolutely worth it. Along the way, you’ll enjoy incredible sea views and the rugged beauty of Menorca’s northern coastline. Of course, if you hire a boat, you can get there too, The beach is also located along the famous Camí de Cavalls, Menorca’s historic coastal horse trail that circles the entire island. This spectacular walking route connects Cala Pregonda with several other stunning beaches and hidden coves nearby, many of which I’ll also be sharing in future videos below. It’s a paradise for hikers, nature lovers, photographers, and anyone wanting to experience Menorca’s wild and untouched side. Despite the walk, Cala Pregonda is one of the island’s most famous beaches and becomes very popular during the summer. Expect to see many swimmers, sunbathers, and boats anchored in the bay during peak season. Visiting early in the morning or later in the afternoon is the perfect way to experience its quieter and more magical atmosphere. There are actually three different beaches in the Cala Pregonda area: 🏖️ Cala Pregonda – the main and most famous beach. 🌊 Cala Salairó – a smaller cove you’ll pass before reaching Pregonda from Binimel·là. 🏝️Escull de Pregonda – the tiny hidden beach located south of the largest islet protecting the bay. This secret spot can only be reached by swimming.
