Testing my new Midland 77-805 Portapak telescopic antenna, kindly sent to me by Charlie Tango DX forum member David (Radio Pixie). Tried to contact my good mate Duane ( / bluejay1968 ) who was running a Small Midland like mine and an Audioline with a Wilson 1000 antenna. Duane was 19 miles away in Middleton.
