Join me for a relaxing White Nights walk around one of Saint Petersburg's most beautiful landmarks — the historic Circus on the Fontanka. Our journey begins late at night on the embankment of the Fontanka River. The dark waters never seem to rest as boats continuously pass by, creating waves that shimmer beneath the city lights. We admire the circus from across the river before crossing Belinsky Bridge and arriving at Belinsky Square. There, we take a closer look at the magnificent circus building, its sculptures, decorative details, and impressive architecture. Continuing along Engineering Street, we discover historic buildings adorned with beautiful bas-reliefs and architectural ornaments. Around the corner, an unexpected sight appears — a fire station covered in lush green ivy. Nearby, colorful vehicles decorated with circus performers and clowns add even more character to this unique neighborhood.
