For years, I have shared pieces of my story, but never the full story. At 17, my academic journey took an unexpected turn when I was rusticated from school. I spent a year out of school, working to earn money for my education while dealing with disappointment, uncertainty, and the feeling of being left behind by my peers. There were moments when giving up seemed easier, but by God's grace, I kept going. In this video, I share how that painful season became the foundation for one of the greatest comebacks of my life. From being forced to leave school, to returning to complete my degree, becoming one of the top graduates in my class, receiving multiple fully funded graduate opportunities, moving to the United States, and eventually earning my Master's degree, this journey taught me that failure is not final.
