William/Alfred Street intersection - All 3 Pedestrian crossings (Braums LED Traffic Lights)
Before these lights came into service in 2022, there was originally a Pedestrian Crossing (or Toucan Crossing, since it had both a pedestrian light and a separate bike light) with Aldridge LED lights that existed right outside the Liquid Art Cafe (in which no one has ever filmed unfortunately, not even me since I never went out much at all). It went through only one upgrade, which had all of the old incandescent lights become LEDs. Until around late 2021, the crossing was removed to make way for the lights you see in the video today as before the upgrade, it was deemed quite dangerous for both drivers turning right or left from Alfred Street, and pedestrians crossing said street. After the removal of the pedestrian crossing, these lights came into service along which has now made it safer for drivers turning from Alfred Street onto William Street, and pedestrians crossing Alfred Street. Unlike the removed crossing, these use Braums LED traffic lights along with the addition of using a pedestrian + bike masking for 2 of the crossings. This upgrade also features Hayman masts, the type you would see anywhere on new installs in NSW. Though the rounded masts aren't branded, only the mast arm has the branding for some reason. The crossings also don't take too long to change, despite the road sometimes getting quite busy (likely the old crossing took longer to change, though it's unknown since I never got to use it at all).
