Zeke Landon | Guilt

"How can we start something new with the past hanging over our heads?" This video is very special to me, because not only is it a tribute to the incredibly beautiful and powerful character arc of one of my all time favourite characters, I actually got to use two tracks from a super talented friend of mine! Isa Agape is a composer and long time fan of Manifest and Zekaela, and when I heard Guilt, which she released in November, I just knew I had to vid it. I'm so honored that she let me use not one but two of her beautiful tracks, and I hope I managed to do them justice! Back to the video: with this character study, I wanted to explore everything in Zeke's arc that led up to his big sacrifice in 4x10. All the guilt he felt, the amends he tried to make, the low self esteem, and ultimately the love he became surrounded with and felt for the people around him. The Manifest writers managed to create such a complex and incredibly well written arc for Zeke, and Matt Long elevated that amazing writing even further with his phenomenal acting talent, so all I can hope for is that this video does all of that work a little justice. I can't wait to see how Zeke's story will end in 4B, because I have no doubt that 4x10 wasn't the end of his story.
