Highlights of Azerbaijan🇦🇿 with Intrepid Travel🌍-Sep 2024

Azerbaijan🇦🇿, home to ± ten million people and known for its vast supplies of oil and natural gas🛢️, with its name originating from the Persian words, “Azer”, which means “fire” and “Baygan”, which means “protector”. It is also known as “The Land of Fire"🔥and is linked to the pre, mostly fire-worshipping population👨‍👩‍👧‍👦who lived in this region for thousands of years. A country that's hosted me for 6 days📅where I got to experience more than exceptional hospitality & kindness🫶, culture, history, food, religion etc. where majority of the people didn't speak English, but yet, somehow we were able to communicate and understand each other😅 (with bits and pieces of English & Arabic, and a Russian word here & there🥴). This was such a rewarding & educational journey, shared as always with strangers from different parts of the world🌍brought together by our common love for travel✈️.
