Mind Games Lionora review — fruity, creamy, ultra-bright

Mind Games Lionora review — fruity, creamy, ultra-bright first impressions. Why watch: honest on-skin evolution from “whoa, too sweet” to “okay, wearable.” Welcome back—Brandon here with The InScentive Collection. We’re playing Mind Games again, this time with Lionora from the Queen Side. Presentation is a 10/10: soft-touch box, color accents, even a chamfered sample sprayer—and a surprisingly strong atomizer. Accords I get (from the script): fruity, floral, sweet, tropical, powdery, fresh, vanilla, lactonic, woody, amber. Note breakdown (from the script): • Top: passion fruit, tonka bean, ginger • Heart: apricot, osmanthus, freesia • Base: lactones, tonka bean, sandalwood, musk On my skin: the opening pops “Starburst + sweet shampoo”—very juicy apricot/passion fruit with a spark of ginger. It starts loud and punchy, reads feminine and youthful, and projects right off the forearm. A few minutes in, it rounds out: tonka/musk/sandalwood add cream and calm, the sweetness integrates, and the whole thing gets more wearable. Still bright, still playful, but smoother and less shouty than minute one. Who it fits: if you enjoy fruity-floral gourmands with a creamy base (lactonic/tonka) and want something summery and uplifting, Lionora belongs on your try list. If high-sugar openings aren’t your lane, give it time on skin—the mid brings balance. I read this as feminine-leaning, but it’s ultimately about confidence and context. When/where: best in spring/summer, casual to day-date; great as a “feel-good” spritz. The opening suggests strong projection; go easy on the trigger indoors. Bottom line: I didn’t like the first blast—then the dry-down won me back. Not complex, but different, bright, and surprisingly wearable once it settles. And yes, presentation is elite.
