Scrap Wood to Rustic Decor | 2 Easy Primitive DIY Crafts

Welcome back! In today's video, I'm taking a few pieces of scrap wood and turning them into two charming primitive decor projects that are perfect for adding a cozy country touch to your home. I'll show you how I created this whimsical rooster sign and a rustic birdhouse piece. I designed and cut both the rooster and the little birdhouse on top with my laser. For the front of the birdhouse project, I decoupaged a beautiful birdhouse image onto a 2x6 piece of scrap wood, giving it the look of an old primitive sign. I had originally planned to use some small wooden birdhouses that I bought years ago, but after searching everywhere, I couldn't find them, so making one with my laser turned out to be the perfect solution!
