AUTISME en ADD-diagnose op latere LEEFTIJD #5 | Seizoen 13 | Spot On

Sara used to always feel a bit different. As if she didn't quite belong. At school, she was called ‘weird’ or ‘crazy,’ and she never really understood why. That feeling lingered until one day she decided to go to the GP herself. There, she eventually received the diagnoses of autism and ADD. Suddenly, a lot fell into place for her, but at the same time, it was quite intense to hear. Autism is often recognized less quickly in women than in men. As a result, many women, just like Sara, receive a diagnosis later in life. When Sara decided to be open about it, she mainly hoped for understanding. And she received that to some extent, but unfortunately, there were also nasty and painful reactions. She shares how she deals with this and what her story is on the Spot On YouTube channel. _________________________________________________ ▷ LET’S BECOME FRIENDS!!
